Executive Director
The Ormond Beach Historical Society (OBHS) is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and visionary Executive Director to lead our organization into its next chapter of growth and community impact. OBHS preserves and promotes the rich history of Ormond Beach through educational programs, historic preservation, events, and community engagement.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide leadership and oversight of OBHS operations, staff, and volunteers.

Implement the organization’s strategic plan and expand community outreach.

Manage budgets, fundraising, grants, and donor relations to ensure long-term sustainability.

Oversee the preservation, interpretation, and promotion of OBHS properties and collections.

Serve as the public face of OBHS, building partnerships with civic, cultural, and business organizations.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required, ideally, in Association Management, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, or related field.

Minimum of 3–5 years of leadership experience in nonprofit management, cultural organization.

Demonstrated success in fundraising and donor cultivation.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.

Proficient in budgeting, fund raising and managing staff and volunteers.
