The Ormond Beach Historical Society will provide a fun, engaging, creative five-day history camp for kids to explore, discover and unlock secrets of Ormond Beach. It will feature field trips, games, crafts, storytelling and more! New in 2026, Birthplace of Speed Day with a mini Soap Box Derby! OBHS aims to introduce children ages 8-11 to the city of Ormond Beach at an early age to broaden their awareness and appreciation of themselves and the extraordinary city in which they live.

Discoverers will explore the worlds of Ormond Beach from the 1500’s – 2000’s through engaging history-based activities, games, crafts and storytelling. Discoverers will learn about life in these eras with hands-on experiences like traditional games and crafts, while connecting to Ormond Beach’s history during these periods.
